In spring 2022 the composer and with him the music world will celebrate his 70th birthday. The three musicians join the birthday party with a program of »fantastic strange scenes«: The rarely performed »fantasy pieces« by Robert Schumann are interwoven and »downright crazy« with the »experiments for piano trio« self-proclaimed by Wolfgang Rihm. In these pieces, gestures reminiscent of Schumann and almost quotations are played with.
