On their new album “Wanderlust”, the Boulanger Trio takes up the musical walking stick, explores romantic emotional worlds and takes you into a wide variety of soundscapes. “We love traveling with the trio to distant countries and discovering new places, and sharing what we have experienced with friends and our audience,” says violinist Birgit Erz about the making of the album. Similar to the last album “Teach Me! The Students of Nadia Boulanger” this program is very varied and is already the second rousing concept album on the label Berlin Classics.
“Unfortunately, the travel time is only about 80 minutes. But then it doesn’t matter. Because the musicians play in such a detailed way, so vividly, that one always enjoys wandering through this 3D music world with them.”
